THE ANNALS OF “DUNAREA DE JOS” UNIVERSITY OF GALATI, PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT MANAGEMENT, FASCICLE XV, publishes original articles on all elements of research in sport.

Instructions to Authors

Manuscripts should be submitted at http://www.efms.ugal.ro/. Manuscripts can be submitted as either "original", "review". The submission should include, compulsory, a cover letter stating that the manuscript contains original material only that has not previously been published, and is not currently under consideration elsewhere, nor will be submitted elsewhere until a final decision has been made by the journal. The manuscript must be .doc and .docx files.

Open Access

Open access is available to all authors. All articles go through the journal's standard peer-review process and will be accepted or rejected based on their own merit.

Manuscript Preparation

When preparing manuscripts for submission, authors should follow the style of the journal:

1. Manuscripts should be divided into:

► Title (including contact name and affiliation, e-mail);

► Abstract (less than 200 words);

► Key words (3-8 words other than those mentioned in title or abstract);

► Introduction;

► Materials and methods (including statement that informed consent and local ethics committee approval has been provided for human studies);

► Results;

► Discussion;

► Perspective;

► Acknowledgements (if any);

► References;

2. As a general rule, no more than 40 references should be cited in a full text original article (120 in reviews). References should be cited in alphabetical order, regardless of chronology and numbered. In the text references should include the number of the refereed paper.

3. Tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals and have selfexplanatory headings. Authors are strongly recommended to include illustrative figures in their manuscripts instead of large tables.

4. Figures should have a title and a number.
