The first edition of “Physical Education and Sports Management- fascicle XV” of the Annals of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania series was published in 2000, as an annual magazine which held on to all its characteristics up to the last edition (in 2006).
This publication came to light as necessity to communicate the results of researchers and teaching stuff from “Physical Education and Sports Faculty” of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati and also to give on to other faculties, from Romania or abroad, a signal regarding our work in this domain.
We extended the communicational area, as theme, in several specializations as kineto therapy, sports management, high performance sports, physical education of people with disabilities, sports for all and adaptive sports.
The results were beyond our expectations, many colleagues from different faculties wishing to publish their papers in our magazine, especially because only after three years was recognized as a D CNCSIS category magazine.
Through our attempts and bonds with similar faculties from Europe, we’ve managed to improve the scientific level of the magazine and this year we have the possibility to get through A CNCSIS category.
